Looking to get a mid-tech/production knife for EDC but I can't decide which one to get. I live in a city so I will be using the knife for basic EDC tasks, I don't do any outdoor activities so no prying or any hard use tasks.

Good looking knife that brous. Tacticool comes to mind.

I prefer small sebenza because its a fine knife and is framelock, not a fan of liner lock.

Fat stubby wharncliffe blade with a big ass finger hole in it. What was it designed for? Anything can be used for an edc knife but of the two I'd take the small Sebenza. I don't really like that Brous at all. It has a lot of nice features of different knives but together it doesn't make any sense to me.

Brous will offer very good control for precise tasks considering it has a hole and ergonomic grip (from the photos), but I doubt if I've required that level of precision for daily edc jobs. I carry Doug Ritter mini grip, or small sebenza Insingo in the city daily (I work in San Francisco), and I'd say opt for the Sebenza.

Also, the sebenza is much city friendly in looks than the brous.

Additionally I am yet to come across the equivalent fit and finish the sebenza has - for a production knife that is. I don't know the fit and finish about brous so cannot really compare directly.

I really don't see much similarity between the two folders. The Brous is primarily a tactical knife, IMO, with a Wharnie blade style and very good at what it's designed for. The small Sebenza is a small folder, perfect for EDC and general use. It has no real tactical significance, but is outstanding in terms of its purposeful design.
Definitely, I would reco the Sebenza.
Both are good knives, but they are not designed for the same tasks.

I have a Sebenza and a SS flipper. The Brous is every bit as well made as the Sebenza IMO.

The biggest difference is that the Seb is boring and the SS flipper is fun and totally unique.

Your call.
