Hey all, just got my Brous triple threat in the mailbox today, sweeeet! This is my second knife from one of his latest production runs of 500. I was in on the SS flipper and now this one. I also have 2 of his D2 SS knives, one drop point and one tanto. The sheaths he makes for them is great.. Back to THIS knife. One thing for sure, Jason has stepped up his package offer.. I'll let the photos do the talking, check it out!

For a production run of 500 the end user gets a great quality semi-custom knife with some details of a full custom and some of just another production knife. The mix of materials is very fair for the price point and the knife turned out to look sweet and feel good in hand. Detent is great, blade centered perfectly, and no blade play. This is a liner lock and has a nice back spacer with his mark on it. Shipped with 2 clips and a case as well :)

I'd check one out if you get the chance!

And lastly, I'd like to know how many people from this site bought one.. chime in and say "I" with a quick comment if you wish :) cheers!

I notice the tip edge extends ever so slighty longer than the grind. I'm not saying it's not a good knife, but i like how the concept pictures on bladeHQ looks more than in actuality, especially how bulky it looks closed. Glad you posted pics and i didn't plop down $$ on this before seeing it for real, especially considering how awesome his prototype is.

Congrats on snagging one but not my cup of tea. I find the grind to grind transitions very soft and not well defined at all, and the weird bright stonewash makes it look cheap to me...

I noticed the photos of an actual knife that BladeHQ recently put up also shows the tip edge bevel extending further than the grind too. The ones i've seen on youtube are the same way. Not the lack of QC i'd expect from a midtech folder...
