Brown Finishing

Has anyone used Birchwood Casey Plum Brown Barrel Finish or similar browning on a blade? Was wondering how it looked. Thankis!

Yup, I've used their Plum Brown, as well as a variety of cold blue solutions. I like the color of the Plum Brown better.
These two have seen a bit of use since they were first finished.

Plum Brown on Red Knife, Cold Blue on Gray knife.
