Just saw that there are preorders available for these. Are these a standard production? (Not sprint)?
May have to try this out as my first Military 2 - was orginally eying the PM 3 in this same configuration which is also available for preorder.

Any word on the timing?

Thanks and sorry if I missed a thread about this, I saw one slight mention in the Military 2 thread.

I've got a PM2 Cruwear. So, when I saw the preorder available for the Military 2 in cruwear on BladeHQ I went ahead and got on the preorder. I'm really liking this cruwear steel. I sure hope the preorder doesn't take a long time.

Yes, they are part of the latest Reveal.
Looks like it may be my first purchase this year (meaning 2023)

I have a smooth G10 cruwear and am a fan. Gets crazy sharp on the wicked edge. I need to pre order one.

Looks like everywhere now goes back to the $228 retail price. I ordered one at the discounted price and received it today (at least 5 days earlier than originally promised).

What's bad: the blade is severely off centered with a loose pivot screw. One of the pocket clip screws is already stripped (I don't understand why SPyderco insists to put the pocket clip on tip-down position).

I had to disassemble the knife completely in order to take out the stripped screw. But after re-assembled the knife I was able to center the blade, with smooth action and zero blade play. I put a Lynch deep carry clip on, which came with three screws so the stripped one is no longer a problem to me. So, these "bads" are really not big issues.

What's good: the grinding is excellent. The edge is even and symmetric. The micarta scales feel really nice in the hand.

This is the first time that I handle a Military 2. Now I can see and feel it is definitely more like the original Military than an enlarged PM2.

Should have bought two.
