Hi All

Got inspired by Grinducci when he modified his GW, so while I was making some sheaths I looked over at my Brown handled GW & thought I may give it a try.

I think for my huge mits it workd better, just like the thinner handles work alot better for me than the magnums, because there is so much "hand meat" I need less handle.

What do you all think ?

Looks like you did pretty good to me man. You sure do have some huge freaking mitts. Anyone who has not met David, will not believe this guys hands if they go to Blade this year. :D He's got rings that could pass as dog collars for smaller breeds!!!!

Looks like a Slim Jim. :D

I like it.

I think that looks better than an original...looks like a mighty 3 finger!

Pretty good aesthetically. One peripheral advantage is that it takes some mass out of the neck carry scenario.

Still struggling with the ideal EDC setup for the GW's.

Nice work! A Slim Jim indeed!!

And now we await the video ... "Me and My Friend Jim" subtitled "How we fought off the attack of the Crazed Cardboard Mall Ninjas!!" :)

nice. you cant even tell they have been altered

^
if that makes sense

Nice work!

I to have the "to much hand meat" problem. Although for me it seems like the fatter handles are more comfortable when using them for a long time. The smaller handles makes me have to close my hand more...more closed equals more work. More work tired faster....But that's just me...

I like it:thumbup:

About the "hand meat" there is somthing about that. I don't have big hands and when I played a lot of golf I aways felt that I had better control with oversized grips.

Great work David! Love the old school Three Finger look.

Look out Grinducci. ;)

Nice Work! I like the looks of it. Nice and streamlined. I prefer the looks of it over the factory handle. I may have to give mine a try soon.

Wow - I didn't realize the thicknesses varied so much on the GWs.

Grinding is good, if it works for you. I'm not sure I'd like the slimmer handle, but the job is definitely very clean and professional. If it ever makes it to the open market, I bet some future hog think's it's shop original.

Looks real good David.

I've done a couple of them in a similair way, and they just feel and look better that way to me. Nice work.
