I have been trying to find a simple way
to remove Brownells Acraglass from a
stag handle. Anyone got a answer other
than be little neater when usng it?

You might try using vaseline rubbed on the stag (where you don't want the gel to go) and then use acetone and Q-tips to clean up after assembly. If its set-up about all you could do is work it down with sandpaper. This works with epoxy, have never used the gel myself.

Acetone while its wet will help Bob..
Mold release before using on the surfaces you want to protect will help also

Local knifemaker Dale Evans uses his pocket knife to scrape the Acraglass off once it sets up a little -- still soft but not wet. Cleans up real nice that way.
