Hi Guys happy holidays...

I thought I went against my better judgement when I picked up a Browning Aztec Trapper for just under $30 CDN, but to my surprise it came sharp out of the box with amazing blade alignment and snap and fit and finish was exceptional. When I was buying it I was comparing a Puma 2 blade knife which was more expensive and the fit and finish was terrible. The chinese made Aztec was far beyond the Puma's quality and some other domestic knives I have seen in the past. I like this knife, now lets see how the steel holds up?

I have a Japanese made Browning small trapper in stag. One of my favorites. If Browning has maintained the quality control in recent years you're in for a treat.

My local Dick's Sporting Goods got those Browning Trappers in. I'm not a Trapper fan, but I gotta admit they are sharp looking!

I keep seeing them in catalogs and must agree that they are a particularly handsome knife.

They are very good looking, and as I said very well put together for the price. Me thinks, me needs me, the other two models. If you handle one you will see how well made they are. The whole made in China thing at first put me off a bit, but when I looked the trapper over I just had to have it. I guess Browning is just as serious as Spyderco when they assure that their off shore made knives leave nothing to be ashamed of.
