browning black label reviews?

No personal experience, but I'd say pass on any knife from a gun company. A couple of the higher end, made in the USA browning models with 154cm look to be of decent quality, but over designed and gaudy to me, and in my opinion, and I'm not sure I'd spend $100+ on one. The cheap, $30ish knives I would steer clear from. Likely Chinese made garbage. If you want a good cheap knife, stick to Kershaw and the lower end spydercos, if your contemplating the more expensive models, I'd say you'd get better bang for your buck elsewhere.

Have one of the Browning Black Label Silver CF folders. Attractive and quality seems ok. F&F are decent. All in all I think it and the others are somewhat overpriced. Haven't been tempted to buy another.

Browning, seriously?

Yep. The Black Labels are Brownings move into the "tactical " area.
Pretty serious move too, quite a lot of different designs. Nothing ground breaking, but pretty well executed. Think most are Taiwan made.
As I said, prices seem a bit high and there are likely better options.

Browning actually makes quite a few decent knives, they're not like other gun manufacturers. They often rebrand knives made by other manufacturers, like Mcusta or Benchmade/HK. It depends on the model, though; some of their knives are crap, others aren't. What're you looking at, specifically?
