Hey,
I finally broke down and bought a "high end" shotgun. I wanted a good double with selective fire and an ejector system (rather than extractors.) I did some research and decided on the Browning Citori Satin Hunter in 12 gauge. The Satin Hunter is only different from the other Citori models in that it can accept 3.5 inch shells. I personally don't use those shells currently, but it is nice to have the option available. It also comes with a satin finish and no engraving. I opted for the 'less frills' version because I actually use my guns in the field. I didn't want to feel horrible if it got a little ding. Anyway come along for the hunt if you like.

Congrats on a nice gun, Kyle. I've owned a couple different Citoris, in 12 and 20 ga. and they are very well built, reliable guns that will last a lifetime.. I particularly like the simple, blued receiver on the Satin Hunter.

You'll be eating lots of pheasant now ! I don't think the 3.5" shell gives you much .
