Has anyone used one of these? I was thinking of buying one to clear walking trails.

I got one used off these forums a couple of months ago. It is a great knife.
I brought it out a little while back and did some chopping with it and my BRKT Golok. The Browning held it's own quite well against the Golok. Both have nice convex edges, both are roughly the same thickness. The Golok is more forward heavy, so it was a little better at chopping.
All in all, I was totally satisified with the chopping ability of the Browning. 1" to 2" limbs were easily cut through with almost no effort. J ust a nice snap and you are through. It did not take too many whacks to get through the 3" and 4" stuff either. All of it was downed green hardwood from a storm and clean up with the Browning/Golok went too fast. I ran out of wood to chop before I was done having fun. I think that the Browning is one of the best buys out there for a chopping knife in the 100.00 range.
It has a well made sheath with frog for belt carry, or remove the frog and stick it under your belt. Great knife! Get it!
