Browning Fixed Blade Hunting Knives

Does anyone know who designed Browning Hunting Knives over the years. Was it various makers or was it Brownings own
people that designed them. I know that many were made here in the states but that some were made in foreign countries. In general terms are they collectible?

I don’t know much about the browning fixed blade line. But they seem well made. Dad had this one for years. Nice knives!

I have a Browning folder that was made in Seki city, Japan. Not fixed, but maybe a clue. Here is a photo (on the right):

This is just a WAG, but that butt cap looks exactly like the one on my Ben Hibben Jungle Fighter, as does the shape of the handle. Browning is in Utah, and at that time Hibben was in Maniti, Utah, so could be he helped with the design. John

Gil Hibben designed some of Brownings knives, some came from Ichiro Hattori in Japan.
