Browning Knives.

Hmm, well my Gerber AR was made in China and I really don't mind the knife. Then again I never owned an American made Gerber.

I've been eying this Browning Elite Signature folder, and based on appearance of the blade I'm absolutely in love. Are Browning knives a good choice?

Browning is not a knife manufacturer.

They put their name on knives made for them.
Sometimes they are superb - for example, MCUSTA and TOPS have both made knives with the Browning name on them.

Sometimes they are less than superb...like the one posted.
It sure looks like a run of the mill Chinese knife.

In other words, the Browning name on a knife is a very hit-or-miss proposition; and for the price shown you can get a much better knife.
