I have tried searching for information on the series of Browning Mastersmith knives but have found very little. So far I have purchased two, #575 designed by John Fitch and the #573 designed by Jerry Fisk. Both knives are of excellent quality, only information I can find is that the steel is carbon and that they are made in the USA. Does anyone know what company actually produced them? (Browning has no manufacturing capability when it comes to knives, all are made to Browning's specs.) The sheaths are not up to what I would expect on a knife with a msrp of about $300 but serviceable.
Any information on these would be appreciated.

Let's move this to the bigger pool where there's more chance of getting some info.
