I am new to this site, and this is my first post !
The browning tomahawk has caught my eye, so to speak.
Price and quality seem to be in check with what I want.
Solid 1055 steel, Should not have a handle break problem ?
being all one piece. My camping one is a lite weight gerber short
handle and my back yard fire pit I use a estwing hatchet.
This to me seems to have the look of stay away from me and can
get the job done. Anybody here on this forum have one? or think I
should look at some other brand ? Looked at sog, like there knives,
not so much for the tomahawk. Need help ! thanks!

Several problems, IMO.
It's too short.
The handle wrap will tear up your hand, during hard or extended use.
Their description states the steel as 1055 stainless, and there's no such steel.

I held one, the edge wasn't bad, the handle is a bit too heavy. More mass should be in the head.

I chose to get the CRKT Kangee instead, I paid $109 shipped. If you want to spend more, and get an excellent full tang hawk look at...
