Browning

If they did, that info would be secret.

Are the knives not marked "China?"

One would think everything is made in China these days.

If the knives are made in the U.S.A. then Buck would be a suspect, but it's hard to prove.

Does buck make knives for browning

Here are comments from two Buck employees about that subject. It's from January 2007.

speaking of Browning, Buck just did a collaboration with them on five different fixed blades. You will only find them on the Browning web site, with no mention of Buck making them . Just go to the master smith collection tab and you will see 571,572,574, and 576 are all made at the Buck plant in Idaho. Also in the living history knives tab the 006 Vietnam knife was made in the Buck plant as well, just thought you guys would like to know"

Question: These are all so similar.....why wouldn't Buck have also made the 570, 573, 575 and the 577?? Or might that be coming soon because Buck can do them better and cheaper?

Browning is listing some knives there that were done previously with another manufacturer. Like heng em said, I believe it was with Camillus that the other knives were produced. However, Buck is producing the following ones:

Model 571
Model 572
Model 574
Model 576

However, my favorite one that we are making is this one:

At this time I can't speculate as to Buck's plans to produce any more of these knives. However, having held all of these in my hand, I will say that they are really cool! I'm a big fan of the Keeslar knife and the 006 Vietnam Bowie!! - Jim "

If one reviews JH's yearly special project list, you will that information is not so secret!

I alweays wondered if buck made any browning knives,i know russ krommer makes or designs quite a few models for them.

I have one of the browning Robert e lee bowies. The only reason buck came to mind was the 420 blade steel. I hope buck did make it that way I know it's heat treated right.
