I make knives, but I am also a collector of custom knives. You could imagine my excitement when my name came up on Bing's order list, so I asked him to make me one of his Chiron model flippers. He did not disappoint. The action of this knife is perfectly smooth, and locks up nice and tight. I love the subtle orange peel texture to the bolsters, and it offsets the great figure to the stag scales. It reminds me of something that my grandfather would have liked and carried, but with a modern twist to it.

Here are the specs:

- CPM S35vn blade steel
- Amber stag scales
- Anodized titanium liners
- Orange peel zirconium bolsters and pocket clip

Thanks for looking.

One of my favorite folders is a Chiron by Bing in knockout blue walrus/damascus. That model, as well as the Bingalor, are outstanding examples of knifemaker exellence in every way.

Great folder...congratulations!

Bing's got it going on...[emoji106][emoji631][emoji631][emoji631]

I've handled one of Bruce's latest (For the CKCA Show at Blade) and it's top shelf! (Can't post yet until all the banquet knives are posted at once.)

I agree. Very sweet. Good for you!

NICE!
If you don't bring that to Kamloops for me to coon eye and chicken finger, I will have to send my goons to your table!:D They will not have to travel far:rolleyes:

Darcy:)

Ha I'll definitely be bringing it in that case...

Thanks Shane, I'm truly flattered by other knife makers interested in owning one of my knives. Shane was on my books (if my memory serves me) for over a year waiting for his slot. This was a really my fist stab at the CPM S35vn. I also made one to carry myself.:thumbup: (sorry I don't have pics of it)

Thanks to all for comments and those viewing

Shane good luck at your upcoming knife show. Please do a review for all of us BF member as well

God Bless

Bing

Great score. I have to agree with the other guys here. Bing's folders are outstanding in every way. I've handled a bunch of them. They were stellar pretty much out of the gate and each one gets better than the last.

Congrats on a great knife. I love the materials on this one-makes me want to pick it up just looking at it....

What John said. I'm lucky to call Bing a friend and it's been a treat every time I've gotten to put my grubby paws on one of his knives. Anyone who got to handle one of his folders would immediately understand the quality and craftsmanship that comes with Bing's knives. Plus, he's just a bunch of fun to be around :D. Keep it up, buddy-looking good.

great score, dude. She's a beauty

As long as he's had his coffee in the morning! He's a little cantankerous and surly before coffee. :D ;)

Now John, You know why I get out of bed at 4:00 AM. That way I get my coffee before anyone else wakes up. Too bad the girls at the restaurant in Belleview Wash didn't know that :D
