The concept of a matching folder and straight knife has been around for a long time. Any guy will get this - no words needed. This forum has seen many excellent renditions in a variety of styles. The standard is high.
Now look at this:

Master Smith Bruce Bump does righteous work and this is a very fine pair of custom knives. As to fit and finish, it's all right there in the image.
Jere Davidson expertly engraved the pair. A+ work from two gifted artisans...:D Tip o' the hat to a savvy collector. ;)
PS: IMHO the double guard is sublime. Great lines, secure, comfortable.

Great concept. I do get it, and I do like it! Superb work Bruce. Nice image, Buddy.

Creamy and dreamy, Bruce! Great capturing of a great pair Buddy!

Congrats to both, and the owner of course.

Awesome pieces as one would expect from Bruce and Jere. I am becoming a great admirer of the work the pair of them produce!!

Well, I am a sucker for blue-cracked elephant ivory and have yet to find some for myself. So, these get my vote!.. not to mention that straight ladder pattern is also probably my favorite steel.

Bruce is on a BIG roll this month. That's the third (and fourth) engraved knives he's presented.

Each one draws us in a little closer. Bruce: you ROCK!

Buddy's work make ME smile. :) We all win.

Excellent looking pair! Amazing details on the blades and the handles, great selection of materials. Superb work!

Wow, thanks fellas for the fine words.
These two were made a year apart. Finding matching ivory that far apart was the biggest challenge.
What a gorgeous photo Buddy!

Lost for words worthy enough to describe this pair, apart from magnificent.
Cheers Keith

I've never seen such a fine 'Parade of Knives' as the ones posted lately.....all extraordinary and exceedingly well done, Sir. :)

Bruce, you have a major case of kixassicus.
