I have a question for you sir. Last year you were asking about heat treating a 42" Katana. I could not find a thread or reply telling how it turned out. I was hoping that you could tell us how it went and what you did. Sorry if you did post how it went and I missed it. Thanks for your time. Mark

Mark Thanks for asking. My son Brian and I work on the katana when we are together. It is for him and wants to be there for all phases. We havent hardened it yet. We are still shaping and straightening. My hat is off to the masters of old that made these. What a pain! If and when we get it done I will post a pic here.
