I received this amazing blade in the mail from Bruce today. This thing is 1) very nicely finished and 2) a complete beast:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:. She's 1/4" saw blade and cocobolo. Klammer designed it, D'arcy Ellis forged it, and Bruce did the rest. My initial impression of this monster is IMPRESSED. Thank you Bruce.

Dr. Bill and fellow chopper addicts - You need one of these.

It is a very nice piece. I believe I will get something by Bruce sometime, hopefully.

Damn, very nice. Looks like one seriously mean chopper. Have some of Bruce's work, and a chopper and roach belly companion coming from soon. The dude does excellent work.

That's just plain beautiful! I want one! How's the balance on it? Do you know what the steel is? What's the length? Give us some info, man!

Beautiful! Congrats.

Thanks M

Do it. Bruce falls into the same category as many of our makers here, a real craftsman, great to deal with, and reasonably priced.

Be sure to post those up!

The steel is cut and forged from a sawmill blade, so I not certain. The golok is 19" long, listed as 1/4" (but it looks thicker). Balance is about 2" forward from the grip. I don't have a good scale for weight, but it makes a Busse FBM feel like a Mora. This is big, serious chopper, not for the feint of heart. Sharp as hell too. It shaves out of the box - just like a Koyote or Farmer...

Wow...what a beauty, how do you spell envious ;)

K - My son said "Do I inherit that too?"

Now that's a KNIFE!

Word-up! Can you say that here???:D

aahhh man... that thing is cool... i love it..:)

Me too Bro...

Freakin awesome! Nicest golok I've ever seen, real slick piece.

Yeah, I thank Klammer and Bruce!

Awesome man. I love the Condor, but that puts it to shame. Reminds me of the bushsword I have from Walter Davis.

Mike: You are right, I dug out the calipers and checked the steel....it's a fat 1/4" measuring in at 0.280".
Thanks for posting the pics!
