Bruce Evans tutorials are so cool! I was cleaning up a hilt joint that I had just soldered and I remembered him using a brass cleaning tool. I made one and it worked great. I will use the JB Weld when I perfect my usage of the vertical mill. (solder can cover an extra thousandth mistake). Thanks Bruce!

Here here. Bruce, you rule. Or at least you rule when Donna says it's OK. :D
It's like you got the Bob Engnath Memorial Fellowship teaching position at the Wiley E Coyote School of Knifemaking. ;)
Keep em coming Dr. E.

Yes Bruce has done a great job and he's been a lot of help with problems I've had. Really everyone here deserves a big hand for the help they have provided and sharing their knowledge. Bruce Bump, Laurence, Eric, Ed and the list goes on and on. This is a trade that not too long ago was done in secret and no ideas were ever exchanged. Because of the cooperation here I think knifemaking has progressed a great deal. Many here spend a lot of time to help others. This is time that could be spent making knives that make them money. For the full time knifemakers that share their valuable time I am really greatful because this is money out of their pocket. :)

Thanks guys,Glad the tutorials help you guys..Heck there are allot of other guys here that help out more than I do...

:D I am the Boss of my houe, and I have my Wifes permission to say SO:p :D :D
Donna reminded me of this old saying when she read what you guys said...
Bruce

yeah .. exactly what everyone else has already said ..
:D

considering when i started i was up turned away by a lot of local makers who simply didnt want to tell me anything on how to start ..
i always find it very refreshing to find that people are willing to help out and trade out their 'secrets' to others who could so easily be considered the 'competition' ..

i take my hat off to all those who have taken to time to sit at their computer and answer someones questions and queries.

D.
