It was my pleasure to observe Bruce Evans put his mastersmith knife through its paces. Bruce and Donna met me at the Blade Show and we went outside in the grassy area where he cut the hanging rope, chopped the 2x4 twice, shaved hair and bent that bad boy to 90 degrees. At about 80 dregrees flex I heard a "tink" from the hard edge but the blade passed easily. I know its no surprise because of his reputation for fine blades but just want to shout the news to his peers. Next year comes the judging. Keep up the good work Bruce E.

Congratulations to Bruce Evans, i hope this doesnt mean he will stop making hawks. :D any pics of his testing blade?

I got to talk to Bruce for a few minutes at Blade, the man has really been busy.
 
Congratulations Bruce! Now I'm looking forward to next year to see your MS blades. Maybe I'll get to see them in person... :D
