This arrived today.
The UPS man saw me looking out of the window, I beat him to the door too.
"I guess you were waiting for this..."
"OH yeah"

James Black goes to old Sheffield England and meets Beknives, where they talked about Tah-Chee. :D

8" of forged 5160, mammoth ivory, SS framed handle & Nickle Silver trim. The sheath is wood, lined with velvet and covered in book binder's leather, nickle silver throat and tip.

I've wanted this style knife for a long time & it turns out that Bruce wanted to make it and never got to it...so...here it is.

Whaddaya think?

Whaddaya think, i love it, killer top view with it's shield on the handle, great old fashion blade for using if need be and what a great sheath just like the old days.! I don't know how Bruce does it, his knifes look like they were made over a 100 years ago, that is not a easy thing to do at all, in fact it's very hard indeed!

What about the killer shirt too, heck lets party!

Cheers!
James

It was a fun one to do,You know all the war stories behind this one.I did finally get some sleep after almost 2 weeks:cool:

Beluga,we can't talk price here,Sorry
Bruce

Here is a pic of a bowie like i got ordered from Bruce. Not quite as fancy, but the style is un-mistakeable. This baby is my new EDC in camp and kitchen. APM, this user blade is gonna see some use!

From the photos, I do believe James Black would have recognised the knife. Nice Job.

Wow, Ed Fowler on my thread...thanx Bruce :D
Hammerdownnow,
I like the 'weekday' version too...it is such a classic design it can be dressed up or have on work clothes.
Good luck with it/her!

I had the pleasure of handling this beautiful rig at the NY show & it's even nicer in person. Great work, Bruce, and great score, Ebbtide!
