I recently rediscovered this old brush axe. It hung in my grandad’s cabin ever since he built it, close to forty years ago. About ten years ago, I remodeled the place into something habitable through the WV winters. My wife at the time didn’t want that old thing junking up the new interior, so I took it to my parents house for safe storage. After the recent divorce, I went back in search of this old beast to restore it to its natural habitat. I looked about everywhere, but feared it lost/stolen. I persisted in the search, and finally dug it up in the corner of one of their sheds. It’s pretty heavily pitted, so if there was a maker’s mark, it’s probably gone now. I haven’t seen anything else to compare it to. It is for brush, but it functions as an axe as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Bob
