just saw one of these at ragweed, looks pretty neat and the price is right...anybody have one? I'm shopping around for a knife roughly about the size of the ag russel woodswalker 2-2&3/4 inch blade (preferably stainless) but a little more "diesel" or durable My WW is great but it's SOOO thin I'm worried I might snap it if I needed to really go to town on a project. thoughs are welcome, thanks.

I have never handled one, but I have been wanting one for a while. I saw them at Ragweed's when I was ordering some Mora's and was going to get one, then I forgot and placed the order without including it. BTW, what does "diesel" mean?

diesel Like "Stronger/tougher/on steroids" like a becker crewman might be too "diesel" for more delicate work a woodswalker might not be "diesel enough" for utiltiy functions....I also really like the brusletto fjiord ( but the price is kinda steep) and the rognald (I think thats it) but there is no choil or guard on the latter so for safety reasons I might shy away

I have the Brusletto Profileringsknive. It is very similiar but the blade is an inch longer and the handle is shaped differently at the rear of the knife. It is my favorite knife. Get whichever one you like. I think any of those are quite good, though I can only guess from the experience I have with mine.

i bought a balder for my son, this past x-mas.... it is a really cool little knife, wicked sharp too..... it is a lot smaller than i anticipated.... the price is great that's for sure......

i love my WW, but it is a bit too thin for a lot of EDC/woods chores.... did you look into any of the BARK RIVERS yet.... they make a lot smaller knives....:D

Mini Canadian . . . The blade is surprisingly thick for such a little knife, but it is really sharp.

You can even keep it in your Woodswalker hip pocket sheath.
