Got this knife a few weeks ago, from Ragweedforge.com.

First of all, much heart for ragweedforge, they shipped very quickly and cheaply, and their staff is a pleasure to deal with.

Now, onto the knife...

Taking the knife out of the box, I was a bit disappointed. The blade was alot less polished than I had expected, and it had visible rusting on the face (not the bevel). The sheath and handle, however, were very nice, and the whole package is very sheeple-friendly.

Testing the knife out cutting...wow! That little sucker sliced paper and shaved arms easily out of the box. Sharpening it freehand is very easy, and on a 1000 grit stone, I got it to scary sharp levels. It will pushcut paper with ease with only a medium-fine finish.

The blade itself is very stout, and while it's nothing much to look at, it cuts like there's no tomorrow. The sheath is leather and isn't much of a looker, but it holds the blade very snugly and has two plastic inserts to keep the blade from cutting the leather.

All in all, for 35$, it's an awesome buy if you're looking for a good 'working' fixed blade.
