Greetings!
In the far north laid the Iron Mountains, and within the mighty Thangorodrim, raised by the will of the dark lord, Melkor, stood the terrible Angband, cradle of evil and underground fortress of pain and misery for many poor souls through eons. But this unspeakable place was also the home of steel.
Its uncountable tunnels and secret pathways often lead to massive smithies and giant furnaces of unimaginable scales, dwarfing the ones of Moria, showing only their gargantuan chimneys rooted in the mountain itself and towering far beyond the clouds, exhaling poisonous gases and noxious vapors into the bright sky of Arda.
Here hoards of tainted creatures revered the dark lord, forcing legions of slaves and prisoners of war to shorten their pitiful lives by toil in the mines and work in the blinding smoke, forging weapons of destruction to please the dark one, till they finally faded away.
From these forgotten times emerged this relic of the past, shaped to the hands of giants, unwieldable for the children of today, the second-born.
Its length is 36 cm in total and a brutal thickness of 27 mm. It is 2780 grams, and 2900 with the sheath on.
The scales are of oak.
