Here's a custom made bowie I recently did, my biggest knife to date.

Blade was 10" long or ~10.5" with the ricasso included of W2 steel with a traditional white hamon

handle is sculpted, two-tone bastogne walnut with some serious curl.

Photos courtesy of my brother. Comments and criticism welcome! Let me know if you want to discuss a potential custom order.

Great work Spencer. Careful though, discussing sales at your membership level is no bueno. Mom did a nice job with the pictures.

as always, a gorgeous work of art.

if you haven't dealt with Spencer for a custom but have been thinking about it, do it!! A genuinely great guy with amazing skills.

Excellent all around, my friend [emoji1]

Thanks everyone for the compliments, and thanks a lot Jay for the recommendation!

Wow, beautiful work on both knives! I tend to almost always prefer a Frosty hamon over a dark (sometimes Dirty looking) hamon, so great job there ;) . I love the aggressive recurve it has and the forged flats are something I've always been fond of.

I really do like the profile of that hunter though, just a bit of belly with the raised "harpoon" clip give it a spear point profile, and then the way the spine flows back up to the handle subdue it's... "fierceness", for lack of a better word lol. :D

Thanks for sharing. :)

Thanks for the kind words, Paul! Really appreciate your synopsis of my designs! And no, I think Marc meant my brother :D

Love the combo of the forge finish with hamon.

Thanks man!
