Hi guys. This is my "fun project" that i finished today (finally)

The knife is forged closest to shape from 5160 steel. Blade itself is 7" long, with overall length 11,7".
It has nice distal taper and upset guard. I wanted to have more of raw finish, so i didn't pay much attention to forging scale as i usually do.
Bevels are hand sanded with 800 grit and etched in lemon acid.

For handle material i used nice piece of deer antler and i used potassium permanganate for forced patina.
Hammered brass pins to follow the style...

Sheath is made of 5/32" thick vegetable tanned leather, and it is covered with rawhide. Belt loop is made of rawhide, and all is hand stitched with cross stitches.
I just had to put some antler beads on the front... :)
