Brute Sheath attachment?

I've got a Becker Brute sheath with the nylon belt loop on it and a plastic buckle of some sort attached to the loop.
What attachment goes with this buckle? I assume it's some kind of drop leg assembly.
Does anybody know what goes there, maybe a pic of it, and where can I buy one?

I would assume talking to one of the sheath makers on BF would be the best way for you to deal with this...

AFAIK the loop with the buckle is for drop leg attachment.
 
Having something custom made won't tell me what the buckle was originally designed for.
I'm curious what Ethan's exact vision was.
