Not to sure what to call this one, its not that big of a knife but it looks like a brut to me.... The blade is W-2 and is 9 1/2" with a total length of 15". All the fitting on this one are from anchor chain wrought iron and the handle is kingwood. The bald head is extra......

Mark, Didn't really check that but I'd say 2" would be a good guess since the material was 1 3/4" when I started.....

I think that you are the cat's meow on those wrought iron fittings, Ray. They look so good! That blade looks big like you could maybe use it to plunge into Bin Laden's head with... ya think? It'd be a great service to our fine nation.

Dang it. I said I wasn't going to look at Ray's knife's again till I got some shop time. Glad I did though that is one sweeeet Blade.

Ray, you have done it again! Really nice, fella. I really like your design and choice of materials. too. Good proportions and the whole knife seems to flow together. Your "go with the flow" is what I think makes your knives so appealing, and it takes a real knack that not many folks have. You take the time to properly finish your work, too. Yep, you good, Ray.

WOW!!!!!!
Really Cool Ray.Glad to see you finishing these and not just forging all the time :D
Keep up the great work Ray,
Bruce

Bruce, Actually I forged this one and 3 others Thursday and Friday to take a break from putting knives together. I just got back from Gilmore Woods with some new handle material just in case I start finishing off a few more. I got out of there pretty light this time.......
