So here are two that my buddy and I scored from the 2012 Blade Show. The first is a beautiful all Ti handle DELTA SOCOM with SS Damascus blade. The other is a new, never seen mini Matrix with carbon fiber. Fantastic work and attention to detail in both if these.

When you say scored do you mean you won them or bought the, either way, great job, really nice knives.

Won? Yeah I wish. Nothing in life is free my friend. Guess I should have said lucky enough to have purchased. These were a very limited run of 20 mini Matrix and 20 Damascus DELTA's just for the blade show!

The Delta also won Blade Show Best American made knife knife of the year!
Congrats to Microtech.

He's still at it, copying the 0777? I thought that ZT had sorted it out with them, but I guess you can't cure stupid...

Come on guys... Really? Just trying to have some fun here. Just enjoying knives. Not sorry if this is offending anyone. Maybe next year instead of hidding behind a forum post, just drive down to the blade show and give your opinion to Tony face to face. I'm sure he'd appreciate it more.

I was half joking when I asked that, not really my type of knife, but I like them a lot, nice purchases for sure. I dont know anything about the design so they look original to me, lololololololololollolo.

Rite on Piper, and thx for the comments. Full production of both of these will follow. Both with G10 scales is my understanding.

I can, voting with my dollars like most other folks.

I don't think any thread involving the triple seven copycat has ever gone over well. It's kind of inevitable that people who support such a great company like Kershaw and ZT aren't going to stay quiet about Microtech doing such a childish thing.

If I was able to go to blade, I would most definitely call Mr. Marfione out just like a bunch of the gents here. Were not hiding. People have jobs that won't give them time off and some just can't afford paying for gas to drive down there (My Jeep gets about 14 MPG)

I think that top knife is sweet! Not a microtech fan, but they make some cool knives sometimes. I would say something to his face about the copying, but I get 8 weeks vacation this year and forgot to ask off for Blade:o

It's been a long day, threads like this hurt my head.
Instead of having to read all this mess, id like to just go to bed.
Discuss the knives not the controversy, like adult people should.
Or i'll issue choice words, some infractions and lock it for good.

Obviously my tread was intended for the pleasure of knife admirers, collectors and users. Thanks to all who posted nice comments about these fantastic folders. I'm sorry for those folks that have issue with Mr. Marfione or Microtech. Please, if you will, start a different tread for bashing or just don't buy their products.
Have a knife day!

Hey blackend, those are some AWESOME scores for both your mate and you!! The grinds on both look ill man! :D

I suggest you ignore the usual drama-queens, life's too short. Whiners will whine - it's in their nature - but sick grinds are forever man! ;) -We that get it, GET IT!

I've been eyeballing a custom Select Fire for some time now myself. When I have the means to some day add a MT to my collection, it's gonna be one of those: Satin finish and deep-red standoffs! :D

Congrats on the awesome score mate and thanks so much for sharing in on your joy! We're many that appreciate it!

All the best, - Thor

*Revdevil* Wow, it just occurred to me that your title in red indicates that you're a moderator...? I missed that the first time around... Do you as a moderator feel good about making posts like these in a topic where a guy - a fellow knife enthusiast - comes on the forums to share his happiness with like-minded people? Do you feel that this is a fair treatment of a fellow member? That he deserves to have his thread run offtopic and be brought down, because he dares to like the knives of a guy, whose business practice you find questionable? Do you feel that you're setting a positive example for members with less experience here than yourself?

Inquiring minds would like to know...

Still, all the best, - Thor

For those of you with inquiring minds, Rev wasn't even slightly off-base. He's someone I consider a friend. So is Karda. Speaking of which, it's probably time to shut this one down. I can't see it getting better from here.

If you have a problem with a moderator, the place to post is the Service & Support forum. Do not post about it anymore in this thread. We are not going to make any forum members the topic of conversation.

Not only am I a mod, but I am still a paying member of Bladeforums. I have an opinion as much as the next person. I can and do post as such, and will continue to do so. As Morrow indicated, if you have a problem you know where the proper place to post is located. If you have any additional questions for me, take them there.
