In honor of the Boy Scouts of America turning 100 this year I thought it would be great to see folks post pics of their BSA cutlery.

I imagine there are some real beauties out there, to me, a good Boy Scout knife (no matter the pattern) is as traditional as it gets, one of the few good organizations still left in this country.

So with that said, please post pics of any you have, I personally would love to see them!!!

Thanks!

Well I guess I'll go first. My one and only BSA knife is this Camillus that I got during summer camp back in the early 90's. It was actually my first non-SAK slipjoint. It was sold as a whittler but as you can see by the blade placement it is not a split spring design.

Nice piece, though. :)

Here are 12.

12 high is a Remington, 1 a Camillus, 2-4 Imperials, 5 an Imperial D-E, 6 a Camillus Scout whittler, 7 a 4-line Camillus USA (mil issue), 8 just USA, 9 Kent, 10 Ulster, 11 I don't recall. :)

WOW!! Some real beauties already, those are very nice thanks for sharing!!! Likely lots of fond memories and life lessons associated with those knives.

I'm betting there are others out there too, can't wait to see them as well.

I sure figured there would be more pictures posted. I have a few around but they aren't anything special to look at. I carried one like DannyP's for years. I finally put it away and bought a replacement but it just wasn't the same as the original for some reason.

SwordandShield, that is a KEWL collection. I haven't seen most of those before. Very neat. Thanks for posting those.

Tongueriver, I was in scouts back during the 75th anniversary and kind of wish now I had gotten some of the anniversary stuff. I didn't think a whole lot of it at the time. Now my son is in scouts and I'm trying to get him stuff to put away so that when he is reminiscing 20-30 years from now he'll have some of this cool stuff to fondle.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Here's another Jubilee knife, this one an Ulster with a silver inlaid scout motiff:

And here's the same knife in the top of the line version, with a solid gold inlay and mounted in a wooden insignia which is mounted in a blue velvet flocked frame. This one's not mine, just a copied photo:

Here's several I bought right around the time Camillus was going under. Sorry for the lack of focus in the pics; it's late & I'm tired.

Camillus #066 standard BSA lockback; Camillus #068 BSA Woodsman lockback;
Camillus "Buckmaster lockback, patterned after a Cold Steel model they were
making for CS at the time:

(Phil Gibbs was kind enough to work on the #068 for me; he tightened up the
saw blade rather nicely. Thanks Phil! :) )

Blade etches:

Same as above, with a small Scout knife and an Imperial KAMP KING. (KK's are fairly common here.)

Edited to add: Boy, these pics are terrible. I'll post better ones tomorrow.

Here's a BSA sheath knife I have posted before:

BSA Model No. 1381 4" blade probably from the 60's.
