Anyone seen the Brown Truck Of Joy(BTOJ) lately. I'm in need of a fix pretty bad. I could use some new pics or at least a story :D ;)


Come on you gotta give me something to work with here.

That would definitely cure me for a while. ;) The BA is by far my favorite and most used Busse, it is the perfect size for my needs. Of course I haven't got my ZT set yet. ;):D
 
My face is pressed up against the window waiting for the BTOJ. I kinda unloaded all of my fixed blades in favor of the Badger Attack E that's on the way based on all of the hubbub on this and the Busse forums. I really only need one fixed blade so this one's it, you freaks.
 
Hmmm, haven't seen a btoj today, but I did see the bpoj (brown plane of joy) at the UPS hanger two days ago :D It was much much bigger than the trucks, and I bet there were lots of wonderful Busse knives on it :)
 
Next time Jerry announces a big shipment; our Ohio brethren should lay in wait and stake out the UPS hub depot nearest Wauseon. Bribe the driver (or inbibe) with Carling, grab the knives, and throw a Huge "Come and get your knife party". Then we can all meet in Ohio!!

Seth, Seth, Seth. How can you even utter the words that would deprive someone of the thrill, the rush, the elation of the BTOJ bringing a white box from Uncle Jerry and his team of satisfaction experts??? Man....

But hey, tough for them, right?? Meet you at Wauseon!!!

I think we need an INFI specific magnet or detector. Saves opening unecessary boxes....:p :D
 
Oh, and Chip, your BA's cousin moved into my house a couple weeks ago. Very nice. (again, thanks Frank..)

(though I still like the straight handled model better)

That BA-E will suit you well. I was using mine last weekend to tear an old board off our deck, I slid the Badger under the board about 2", started prying couldn't get the board off, decided it would probably come loose if I stood on the handle of the Badger, nothing board still held tight, so I began to bounce on the Badger, finally got the nail lose enough the board came lose. No damage at all to the Badger, I suppose a crow bar may have worked but what fun is that ;)
BTW, I resemble that "freaks" remark :D:D

Why bribe the UPS driver, just wait outside the shop and Bribe Jerry with that Black Label. ;) :D

No BTOJ today, I guess I will have to wait until at least Monday now. :( The only reason to look forward to a Monday.
 
Having just finished watching The Mask of Zoro, I might be slightly influenced. We seem to be forgetting that all of us are armed tot he teeth with the sharpest knives made of INFI. Everyone run out to walmart, buy a black mask, and we can raid the UPS warehouses :D

I agree, I still like the staight handled Badger better, too.
Feels better in my hand, I have small hands though. Sorry, I didn't
get one of Frank's with the Kydex sheath, I waited too long. I ordered a Kydex sheath from Buy Brown.

We are all NUCLEAR FREAKS!!!!:D

Things can bring happiness. Happiness has as it's root word "happen" which is the impetus or condition precedent; the contingency, if you will. The "happening" brings "happiness."

Joy on the other hand is it's own derrivative. It is self-intitiating and self-perpetuating. Joy needs nothing to exist. It is.

Now that we got all of that straightened out, where's the DBT (darned brown truck) with my SJ/CG already.:mad:

The BTOJ came to my house on monday, and he left a little gift at my door. A shake of the box brought forth a heavy sound. Upon opening, there was my ZT Natural Outlaw, and my CG Satin Jack. Both of them beauties. I was quite concerned when I did not find the ZT Satin Jack......but a prompt email and a reply calmed my fears.....yes they had my order for one, and it was not ready yet. (I was afraid that the reply would be something like: "what ZT Satin Jack order? Sorry, they are all sold out....."). Anyway, two more Beautiful Busses to play "einey meeney miney mo....." with. Both arrived scary sharp.
A big Mahalo to Jerry, Dave, and all the folks at Busse for sending them on out and answering my email.

Yes, the btoj came to my door today. Unfortunately there were no Busse knives in my package, only a new cisco switch :( I swore to the the delivery man that there must be at least one knife on his truck. I tried to trade him my bovine-pig-onion pizza for the truck keys, but I guess he wasn't hungry. How long could it have possibly taken me to open every box, an hour at most? :D
 
Yes the BTOJ stopped here as well.

I heard the doorbell ring and by the time I got the door and looked through the peephole there was no one there. I opened the door and there was a big box outside my door. It was my pack I ordered not the long anticipated Nuclear Package from Ohio.

I guess the driver knew not to stick around.:D

Oh well.... maybe today:confused:

I had my choice narrowed down to either a battle mistress or a steel heart and I just couldn't decide. I researched and put a lot of thought into it. I also put a lot of time into using my basic 9 to see if I really needed another knife of it's size. I had my mind just about made up to get the steel heart when I saw a good deal on one and snapped it up.

I bought it from a fellow forumite. It's coming via usps, so I'll be waiting on the RW&BTOJ - red, white & blue truck o' joy.

When you've waited for something for a long time, and it's finally on it's way to you, it's just agony!
