Bub Worrell Neck Knife

Here's a new neck knife that I picked up this morning by Bub Worrell. It's a chisel ground tanto, about 4" OAL. The steel is 5160/L6 damascus made and heat treated by Bub to 57-59rc. Scales are mastadon, with a mosaic center pin. The knife is fully fileworked, and features an 18k gold fileworked inlay in the backspine. Bub also included a very nice black same neck sheath with a sterling silver bail.

It's a great package, and the price was VERY right! Bub is starting to do mosaic damascus and liner locks. This summer in Atlanta, he'll be going for his JS. In the next year, he's planning on starting autos. Bub is a terrific guy, who's doing nothing but improve his skills.

Man that's a n ice neck knife, but I recently ( 3-4 months ago) got a very nice neck knife I had Ray Kirk do for me. It's a very nice knife also. When you going for your Master Ray? Your skill is definitely Master quality in my eyes!

Going to Bub's Website I was pleasently surprised to see that I used to live in the same small town in Indiana that he does. I actually have a sister who still does.

Yeah for Lebanon In. ! Like 20 Minutes from the Indy 500 ;-)
