Yeah, I really like my 005GYS - it's 420HC is fine - and the fit/feel of that laminated wood handle is excellent. Actually, the grooved, like one-way checkering on wood revolver grips - which I don't like - may be a deal killer for me on that 005RW. I tried the aforementioned site - none available. They changed their availability to 'usually ships within a week' since then. I tried a cheaper source - which I had never heard of - 'irawoods.com' - even found another item to bring the order up for their free shipping. Not in stock, despite their site displaying that it was. I guess they are either very popular - or, like that #408 S30V K-P I wanted last year, they just aren't shipping yet.
The good news is - I have saved money! The bad news is - I can't spend it in the Custom Shop, either. I hope they hurry up and re-open. I guess I'll just have to buy more gas... and check out a few more local shops, although my knife money will have then gone to my Jeep's tank. Wally World isn't far... they still have the short Nighthawk... and I am currently in a 'Niighthawk-free' zone... perhaps...
