Very nice. I love the design on that. I wonder what the hardness is? Do you know?

BU0019IWSLE: Verge, Designed by Mark Mclean
Buck Knives

Wow! What a beautiful knife by Buck. Designed by their own Design Supervisor Mark Mclean, the Verge is a unique blend of materials and style that makes this knife a sight to see. Starting at the blade, the 154CM stainless steel blade is forged into a drop point shape. While you may want to keep it as a show piece, 154CM is a high caliber steel with great performance and corrosion resistance. The handles are made from ironwood with lightning strike carbon fiber bolsters and a flame anodized titanium insert. Included with the Verge is a genuine leather sheath and a certificate of authenticity that is serialized with a total quantity of 250. We are huge fans of Buck's Annual Legacy Collection and this year is no different.

Buck's Legacy Collection offers exceptional beauty and dramatic designs. Hours of hand craftsmanship go into each Legacy Collection knife. Many pieces, designed by Buck's employees, are handcrafted in the USA with unique materials and defined as cherished family heirlooms.

154CM Steel

Love the blade shape which reminds me of a Randall fighter, but that handle / frame is just plain ass ugly.

It seems like it would feel okay in hand though.

While I'm glad Buck is doing different designs, this is just to 'futuristic' for my tastes. I can, however, appreciate the design elements and how they were applied by M. Mclean. Preston

I think I could do without that metal on the handle. I think the wood and carbon fiber would be really nice all by themselves. Still, it is a nice looking knife.
