If I recall correctly, I could have sworn they said "tumbled stainless steel" in one of the videos from the show I watched yesterday. I'll try to find it again to confirm.I'm digging it. I'm sure I'll snag one when they become available. I hope the detent is as good as the initial sneak peaks have said. I haven't been very impressed with the detent on the Sprint series.
I haven't seen any mention on the Buck website of the material used for the metallic side of the scales. The price leads me to believe it's stainless steel. I would love to see titanium.

Marbled carbon fiber please!!!!Thanks for the confirmation on the stainless scale.
I'm gonna go ahead and grab one when they become available. I think the price is right for what it is. Maybe if it does well, we'll see it in some other flavors.
I feel very much the same but I'm still concerned that they won't ship it North due to the ball bearings.Of all the modern folders they have I like this one the best.

A major retailer is now selling the Sprint 840 series up here though so there is still a chance. We can make sure you get one.
damasteel shines like a mirror...kinda mirror finish with the damscus pattern showing. pics don't quite capture the beauty and shine it gives off. ive tried. I know it as I have a vantage in damasteel I got from ya Mike years ago.Nightime pic of the original. Tried to get a relection of the Damasteel but didnt work out.View attachment 1585970View attachment 1585973View attachment 1585971View attachment 1585972
