BUCK 103 Club

Ordered a 103 Pro a couple days a go. Thought it would make a good all arounder from kitchen, hunting and camping. And a prettier, non threatening EDC fixed blade when I want to carry one. It will also keep my 102 Woodsman company, which has been my go to for 10 years. ( purchased on Amazon in 2013 for $36, wish I invested in them) Looking fwd to posting up some pics. Any experiences here? or pics to share in the mean time?

The 103 doesn't get quite as much affection as some other classic Bucks, but it fills a niche. I've got one, but I had to tweak it a bit before I could love it. I'd like to get my hands on a pro model to take advantage of the upgraded steel. Here's a couple of threads where the 103 comes into focus.

Thread 'Who Wants Buck to Release the 914 Woodcraft Knife Again?'

Does anyone know the story on the Buck 914 that they made for Cabela’s in 1991-1993 and Ducks Unlimited in 1995 and 1998? I have been interested in the 914s for a few weeks and was finally able to pick one up last week. It is the 1995 Ducks Unlimited model. It has been used and looks like someone used a Scotch-Brite pad to clean the knife which left faint scratches on the blade as well as removing some of the pad print. Since it doesn’t really have collector value now, I will not have a problem using it. It is an interesting knife that feels half a pound heavier than my 192 Vanguard, but...
