Skinned Alligator

A skinned nuisance alligator processed by Dave Regal. Dave traps nuisance alligators for the Florida Game and Freshwater Fish Commisson in Collier County, Florida. Citizens file complaints against alligators they feel pose a hazard around their waterfront homes. Dave catches them, and then sells the processed alligator for his "fee".

Great picture, thanks for sharing!
That reminds me of some pictures we got a few years ago. A guy used a 119 or was it a 120, to finish off alligators he caught. The picture shows the knife neatly "inserted" into the gators skull.
Does aligator taste like chicken too? ;)

Thats a 440 c skinner i bet, check out the huge finger choil somebody added to choke up on while skinning, that there is a good modification i think its usefull!

My wife has a nephew, I guess he's mine too, who is a hunter and lives in Lake Charles, Lousianna. He hunts gators and I've eaten them at his house. Can't say it taste like chicken, but was pretty darn good. Also, goes frog huntin' and they were pretty good, too. If we had gators in Colorado, they'd have to have fur lined ear muffs.

I have worked offshore of Texas and Louisiana for
several years.I have eaten the wild and farm raised types.
They are both good fryied and as long as you get all the
fat off of them when you clean then .But if you don't
and you eat some fat they are not good.It doesn't taste like fish,I guess it
is closer to dark meat chicken.Kinda.........:)
Love the 103 shot .Thanks for shairing.
