Lets see those 104 compadres for January 4th!
Here is one before and after I put some elbow grease into.

A day late but this is my fav custom 104. Shedua wood with a Bubinga accent strip came from a 1967 Bear recurve bow.

I have a regular old 5160 104, but it is my favorite camp knife. The hollow grind makes it more general purpose to me. Definitely can handle baton-ing down kindling, but slicey enough for food prep, etc.

I've tried several similar sized fixed blades in the search of the "perfect" knife for camping, but kept coming back to the 104. I eventually sold off the other contenders. I do kind of miss my BK19, that was a good one too.
