Buck 105 Question

I am looking to replace an older 105 that was stolen.

My question is the false edge grind has changed here and there over the years. I prefer the grind that is pictured on Buck's website but most of the knives I see have a much more abrupt grind on the false edge (which, in my opinion, is ugly). My question is when did the grind that I prefer happen or is it hit or miss?

Thanks.

MJ, If its on the web-site its probably a recent year date knife . Some of mine have the different false edge you pointed out . DM

MJ, Thats the benefits of your local knife store, Cabela's or Sportsman's Warehouse is you get to handle it before buying . This is not true w/ internet purchases . Yes, they charge more but cost of returns is lower and satisfaction higher . DM
