Buck 105+

I have a Buck 105+ that is marked on the tang with :
Buck
105+
USA
readable with the point up. The flap sheath is marked
105 on the back. I bought this new in the 70's or early
80's along with a couple of 120's. I was curious as to
what the + on the 105 alludes too.
