Buck 107 (Empress)....How'd i do?

hi all.
so, i just "won" an ebay auction for what they called a Buck Scout knife. researching this forum, my guess is that it is one of the knives from the Empress Trio set, rather than the traditional 107 model.

paid $46 total. i'm pretty happy with that, but curious to see how y'all think i did (i.e. the folks that know way more about Buck knives than i do).

TP, Welcome. After adding 10$ for shipping, I'd say you still did OK. These Empress Trio knives are hard to find and the sets are normally broken up and sold. Hence, procured like the one you found. Yours looks to be about a 1972 model. Keep a close eye out for the other two and their box. When obtained they will make a great display set. DM

yeah...i have always liked these 107 style knives. i have been watching for them on ebay and this one was for way less than i was expecting. i actually got this knife for $46 total....including shipping! that's what made me question it. ya know....the "too good to be true" phenomenon. so, i thank you for the vote of confidence. i will for-sure keep an eye out for the rest of the set. thanks david.
