A buddy asked me to sharpen his Buck 107 U.S.A.(3 lines), micarta, 3 pin w/stainless(?) bolster. I usually try to find out what I'm working with and have 2 questions.
What type of steel is this?
Was it originally hollow ground?

) or powertools I'd recommend flattening out the convex bevel and putting a zero grind on but you might want to see what his preference is first... I just did that to my sebenza the other day(originally hollow grind with convex edge) and man does it cut like a laser now!
