I came across a 100th Anniversary 110 without the sheath. The blade appears to be knew, but the bolsters have tarnished. It has the 100th Anniversary medallion on the handle. Is there any significant value for these knives?

Perhaps some, better if you have the sheath, box and paperwork . Yet, just to have a 100yr. Anniversary model is special to me . Those were big runs and several knives were in the issue and the 110 being a bigger number involved . Does it have the stamping on the blade as well ? Good find . DM

Theyre valuable cause of what they are not what theyre worth. I want them in my collection just cause its a cool thought...100 years of Buck Knives:thumbup: Someday maybe, and they still sell on the bay $10-15 above standard 110 prices from what I've noticed(unscientific statement at best:D).

Maybe DM, I got it off the for sale forum from Bear Claw. I was surprised when it came with the 2003 stamp but figgered it would be a rarey.

I've seen some with a 2001 stamp . So, the 100yr. Anniversary models could have 3 yr. blade stamps . DM

I havent seen one of those, but I guess so. I would be more surprized to see a 2001 than a 2003.

yes i have see all 3 year stamps
the 2002 is most common but the others are desirable to have also
as alterations of a theme.. not unlike any other year stamp collector would need
IMHO the 2003 stamp was a case of needing to sell the rest of the handles

i have some proto type art work 100 year art blades with
2001 blades were they had to use some thing to test it on
yes it is possible they needed to fill a order ahead and used the 2001 blade
but it is also possible it was a case of oh we found a box of blades too...
either way i do have the 2001 bladed one in my stash but not in the display

I figgered that on the 2003's but couldnt figger the 2001's-those are both legit thoughts 110.

Yes, I have one of the 2001 100yr. Anniversary blades as well on a 110 . It has the stamping on both sides of the blade . Perhaps a salesman issue or a test run, like Dave mentioned . Anyway, those are not easy to find . So, some interesting stuff is out there on the 100yr.. Never know when you might stumble into one . DM
