Was at a show yesterday, an got a buck 110 3 dot for $40.00 with sheath. The knife has no wear looks like it has never been sharpened. I felt that was a good deal.

Good score, 1980-1981 mfg. Does it have much patina on the brass? You gonna use it or add it to a collection? I would enjoy seeing photos of the knife, tang stamp and sheath. Where was the show? Did you see any other Buck knives there?

It has a little patina, it will be used I think, not able to post photos. The show was a gun show in Friendship.IN.

you can upload photos to Photobucket and then click the bottom of 4 posting options to the right of the photo and paste it in your post.

A little ammonia will brighten that brass or, if you want, Wright's Brass Polish which uses ammonia. You are in luck if you are in Indiana because that is Larry Oden's stomping grounds. He is VP of the Buck Collector Club and the premier Buck Dealer your side of the Missouri River. He is a member here but posts far and few between. If you shoot him a note a bet that he will put you on his mailing list which is a treasure chest of Buck knives from out of the good gone days like you won't believe. My forum email is busted but my PM works, I do believe so shoot me a PM and I'll send his email if you want to get his list. Also, if you can get me an image of your knife and sheath I would be happy to post it for you.
