This one was purchased in January 1982. From information in this forum, Buck started hand radiusing bolsters in 1982. I don't know how quickly 110s hit the shelves back then, but is it possible they started radiusing earlier than 1982, like maybe late 1981?

This one sure looks like rounded and is more radiused than any 3 dot I've seen. Or is just me not seeing correctly?

Yes, it is possible. horn, your model does show some radius. Nice photos by the way. But if you look in the area of the thumb depression divot it shows no radius. The early ones
did have this. I would say yours was done by hand and was among some of the first. Do you have the sheath, box and papers? A good find. Blade is 425M steel. DM

Just the sheath and knife. Virtually unused though, never sharpened. When I lost my first '70s 110 I bought two in 1982, one as a spare. The spare got misplaced and I thought it's lost forever. Few months ago I purchased new one and day after I've found the old spare. Wife borrowed it once and it has been among her "arts and crafts" stuff.
Life is weird...

Nice Find!

Gotta watch out for those wives.

Was looking for something in this ones back pack a few years back and discovered a V1 112. I laughed and confiscated it back to the collectables and dug her out a bucklite for her pack..
