Hey guys, I was wondering if I should buy another Buck 110 50th anniversary for display. I know that they have stopped production of these knives, so I know that they will be in high demand in the future. I currently have a 50th anniversary 110 that I use regularly when I'm outdoors, but would it be worth it in the long run to get a new one for what is to come in the future? Thanks for the help guys!

Concerning the 50th year standard production knives, I would say they won't increase in value. We are talking about an entire years worth of production. I don't know how many 110's are made every year but I'd say it got to be 100's of thousands. There were 4 limited edition 50th anniversary knives with a production of 500 knives each, they might do a little better.

Thanks for the reply DeSoto. I will just keep what I have. I think that my current knife would have much more sentimental value to it if/when I pass it down rather than a shiny unused blade.

sure would make a wonderful solid gift for any knife guy turning the big five-0 in years to come.

Don't let potential increase in value keep you from putting one aside, the are still neat.
