Looking thru other posts on this site as well as other, reading the 110datasheet document, I am more confused than ever. Being new to looking for a date on a knife, some of the things are confusing to me. There are descriptions of left and right hand, inverted and such as that. All that I know is that I have a Buck 110 that is marked as follows: Holding it in my right hand, the blade reads BUCK *110* USA. There is a rivet where the blade is on both sides, and no rivets/pins on the other. In the wooden part of the knife, there are 3 brass and 1 silver pins.

This was my dad's knife, and remember him having it with every time we went outdoors.

Any help would be appreciated.

I usually round those off at 1978 through 1979. Excellent 110's from that time period!!
