EDIT # 1: I think it is FAKE. Message comes from FactoryStore at Buckknives dot com.

EDIT # 2: this is also where my Buck Of The Month emails come from, so most likely legit ?

EDIT # 3: see post #35 - thanks plb. "Besides sending the email from the same email address as their other recent marketing efforts, Buck posted the announcement on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram yesterday."

Anyone else receive this email ?

A special 110 and a pair of Boots - yes, boots. Just received the email.

The email link takes you to Nicks Boots.

Fake, strange, something new from Buck ? ? ?

EDIT: Not fake. See post # 46 from Buck.

It's definitely real.
Nick's boots has done many collaborations before, and this isn't the first time they've done a special boot with a knife pocket on the side.

Well, that is my question. I wish Buck was open to call them. Just seems weird to me that the sales are at NB and not Buck. Also, the pictures are strange. One picture shows a 2022 date code. There is only 1 good picture of the "COLLAB" knife and the blade on the collab really doesn't look like the 1960's example shown.

I guess, "COLLAB" means, this is how we think it should look.

I guess, I'm waiting on the official word from Buck on Monday. Also, seems weird to launch this collab after hours on Friday; can't contact Buck until Monday.

EDIT: I will change the "Warning" once confirmed by Buck/official source.

A quick Google search of "nicks boots buck knives" will take you to the collaboration page.

Cool looking g boots with a built in sheath for a 110.

Apparently Nicks started in 1964 as well. View attachment 2228924
Damn. A bit too rich for my blood, but I had to grab my own wrist that was reflexively reaching for my wallet. Very cool collaboration that I never would have thought of.

Why does it seem weird? They’re producing the part of the equation that is MUCH more expensive. It doesn’t seem weird whatsoever to me. I mean, why would Buck be selling a $600 pair of boots with a ~ $100 knife?

No idea about the pictures. A guess is that they didn’t have the actual knife in hand or photos of it when they made the marketing materials for the sale.

Since you’re so concerned, I can only assume you’ll be buying a pair if it’s legit?…..

I recieved an email from Buck with this promotion today.

I am certain it is a Buck sponsored collaboration.

I am not in the market for $700 boots right now, but they look nice.

As an aside, I have seen a dramatic increase in marketing emails from Buck in the last couple of months.

I am a BCCI life member, but almost never received email marketing in the past from Buck.

I don't mind, but did notice.

I received the email at 2:00 pm pacific time. Which I'm pretty sure would be during normal business hours For Buck. If you didn't receive it until after business hours, it probably had to do with an internet traffic jam, someplace between your place and the Buck store. Not when Buck sent it out.

O.B.
